9/11 ART GALLERY
Thanksgiving 2001, I created this American Eagle Centerpiece.
Here's how:
BODY = Pineapple
WINGS = artichoke cut down center
HEAD = bok choy slashed many times and soaked overnite in ice cubes to "feather"
TAIL = spiky top of pineapple
CLAW FEET = star fruit
Beak = yellow goard
Eyes = Black olive piece on top of yellow pepper piece
red, white, blue surrounding bird = rafia
wooden k-bob skewers held it all together
